CAMP GUIDE 2015
Get out your calendars or, in our case, it usually takes a spreadsheet to plan our children’s summer schedule. I love looking through the camp directory and realizing the many opportunities our kids have to try a new sport or activity! Summer is a time for adventure, new experiences, creating memories and making new friends. For younger children, this is a great time to sign up for swim lessons. For those needing a little more academic support over the break, check out the tutoring programs and camps where kids can have fun while they learn.
There are 150+ camps in Ventura County and you can find many of them on PARENTCLICK! View our A-Z SUMMER CAMP DIRECTORY for a list of every camp, website link and a description of their program. You will find links and contact information in the DIRECTORY for the ADS below.
Now that my children are older, we are focused on all the great Counselor In Training (CIT) programs where they can volunteer and get work experience.
