Shakespeare Festival presents ‘Antony and Cleopatra’0
The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company will perform “Antony & Cleopatra” at California Lutheran University during its 18th Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival.
The Festival will feature performances of “Antony and Cleopatra” July 18-Aug. 3 at CLU in Thousand Oaks.
The festival is one of the area’s most popular outdoor theatrical events. Visitors are immersed in the Shakespeare experience each Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening as the festival grounds open at 5:30 p.m. for pre-show picnicking and entertainment. Join members of the artistic company for a Pre-Show Chat. Grab a beer or a glass of wine from the concession area and walk around to the far side of the ticket area at 6:45 each show evening for a lively 15 minute discussion.
- 5:30 p.m.- Festival grounds open
- 6:45 p.m. – Pre-show chat with members of the company
- 8 p.m. – Main stage production begins
Audience members are asked to be seated no later than 7:45 p.m. Arriving after the production begins may delay seating. Individual tickets are $20 and are only available at the door. Youth and children younger than 18 are free.
Kingsmen Shakespeare Company is the professional theater company of California Lutheran University. The nonprofit organization also coordinates apprentice programs for professional and aspiring Shakespearean actors, an educational tour program in local schools, and summer theater camps for youth.
