Kindergarteners at BRIDGES arrive with anticipation and excitement for what each day holds. They are just as eager to write/dictate their next journal entry, graph the weather, or review their sight word rings as they are to build with Magnatiles, create a piece of art, or present a play with their friends.
BRIDGES Kindergarten is a place where learning is hands-on, engaging, and fun, and where students’ thoughts and ideas are valued. Parents, who spend one morning each week in the classroom, make this possible. They are integral participants, enriching the children's education by sharing a particular skill or talent, helping the teacher prepare materials, facilitating centers, or working with children to resolve conflicts.
Our charter vision is to create a learning community where children are enabled and empowered to become lifelong learners and compassionate global citizens. Most of our families have come to BRIDGES as a result of word-of-mouth.
