About Us

Alicia has been married to her college sweetheart and soul mate since 1991. She has two boys, ages 5 and 8, who try her patience regularly and inspire her constantly. She is a native of Kansas and has been living in Ventura County since 1996. Alicia is a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications. She worked in the newspaper industry for 17 years as an editor and currently does freelance work as well as working with Community Action Ventura County 

Before starting her own business, Hilary Doubleday worked in various positions in the publishing industry. She has worked in staff positions and freelance as a producer, in new publications, as a writer, a photo editor, an art director and a stylist for Time Warner (Sunset Magazine), California Magazine, Conde Nast and numerous newspapers. She helped direct the style content in her staff positions at The Territory Ahead, USAopoly and Travelsmith. She also spent several years as a freelance photographer. In 2008 Hilary wrote, produced and published her first children’s book. Hilary and her husband, Ned, moved to Santa Barbara to raise their children in Santa Barbara’s unique community.

Jamie wears several hats and one of those is as CFO of ParentClick, Inc. Jamie is also a Research Seismologist at UCSB and the father of 3 girls. 

Kim lives in Reno, Nevada with her husband and three children, ages 13, 11 and 7. She grew up in Reno and attended the University of Nevada, Reno where she earned her Bachelor's of Social Work.  Leaving Reno to explore Santa Barbara and then Las Vegas, Kim, her husband and children returned to Reno 3 years ago.  Part of the ParentClick team for the last 5 years, Kim enjoys connecting with new Editors from throughout the country and looks forward to having ParentClick sites in every state! 

Kristi recently relocated to Ventura from Northern California with her husband and two children; a son, 9 and a daughter, 6. She's quite familiar with the area as she has other family members (whom she's visited often) that live in Ventura County. She is looking forward to sharing all of her family finds with you as she continues to explore this wonderful community.

Nicole was born in the San Fernando Valley but grew up in North County San Diego. She has a love for traveling and different cultures! In college, she met her husband while on a study abroad program to Granada, Spain. They have been married for 3 years. Now they have a rescue dog name Bailey & a 19 month old daughter, IsaBella. Nicole has a heavy heart for animals and has a passion for working with children and families. She has her B.S. degree from San Diego State University in Child Development.

Nicole and her family moved to Ventura County from San Diego about 9 months ago, her husband grew up in the area so she’s quite familiar with the community. 

Rachael is a native of Santa Barbara, California and a mother of three girls, ages 10 and 13 (twins). Prior to becoming a mother, her work experience included many years in marketing and management. She received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Rachael is actively involved in the community serving on several local boards and volunteering in her daughter's schools. She is passionate about the community and enjoys the challenge of running a business while balancing the day to day obstacles of motherhood.
